Hi, I am a PhD student on implied status as my SP got expired and it's extension is under process. However, I am expecting to graduate next month, and it seems that I won't have my extended SP by that time. Now the thing, I have been offered a full time position after my defense, so what are options for me to be able to work full time? Remember that in order to apply for PGWP, I should have valid SP which I have not (on implied status). So, what should I do? My PR application is also under process for 15 months, and has passed all stages except security (if it helps in framing your answers).
Thanks

If you applied for SP extension and it has not been approved then you can apply for PGWP but cannot work until approval.

What stream did you apply for your PR? Does that has any bridging work permit available?

As Naturgrl replied, you need to wait for your SP extension in order to work while waiting for PGWP.
It's a tricky situation.
