As what the title says, my friend wants to stay in Canada working. She is on her student visa at the moment. The company she worked for said they'll apply LMIA but so far the form still hasn't been summited yet. The company called CIC today and CIC recommend that they apply for IEC working holiday permit. As we all know, working holiday is very difficult to get approved and she is in Canada already. We might try it but because she used to be in the IEC co-op program, I don't know if she can still apply for working holiday.

Can anyone suggest me what's the best option for my friend here? She really wants to stay in Canada and have also applied a temp visitor visa (yet to be approved)

My friend needs all the help she can find right now.

Thanks!

1. Without her country of citizenship, no one can tell if she is eligible for another IEC.

No, currently Taiwanese citizens can only apply once through the IEC program.
