Can I apply for BOWP while my PGWP ext. application is in process?

Hello,
I did not get my full length of PGWP due to passport expiry. My PGWP expires 12 oct 2024. So I applied for an extension with my new passport. A few days after I applied for pgwp, I submitted my PR application and received AOR. Now,
1. Can I apply for BOWP(my spouse is principal applicant) while my PGWP ext. is still processing? I am on implied status now.
2. Should I withdraw my Pgwp application and only apply for BOWP?

You can apply for BOWP without withdrawing PGWP application. There are no implications to your status unless you withdraw PGWP.
