Can I apply for Biometrics before applying visitors visa

Can I apply for Biometrics appointment and get it done without getting biometrics request from CIC ? FYI I'm applying for visitors visa. Thanks.

I have a biometrics appointment on 22nd November and I am about to apply for a visitors visa before 1st November.

I don’t think so without the letter from IRCC this can be done

Yes you can. But make sure you have ample amount of days between the prospective application date and biometrics appointment date at VFS since it may take upto a week to get BIL.
