Hi All,
I am now in the implied status, that my company helps me apply the LMIA letter two weeks before my work permit expired last week.
And I submitted the CEC application through mail last week right before my work permit expired as well.

I am wondering if I can still apply the BWOP if the LMIA letter is refused ? During the implied status ?

Appreciate your help !

One mandatory requirement for BOWP, is that your work permit cannot be expired. So unfortunately, you cannot apply for BOWP under implied status.

Thank you for replying me, so this kind of bring me to a further question.
What can I do to continue working in Canada if the LMIA rejected my request ?
Or the only option left for me is leaving Canada untill my PR is approved ?

An application for an LMIA does not give you implied status. You are only on implied status if you also submitted an application to extend your work permit, before the old one expired.

If your work permit has expired and you have not applied to extend it, you are out of status, and cannot work until you get a new work permit.
