Hello
Can someone help me, please?

If I apply with my family (husband and 2 kids) I have CRS point of 426 and if apply for myself, then as per the CRS calculator, I am able to score at least 452.

If I apply for myself, at the current draw scores I am sure to get an ITA. My question is, once I get my PR, how long do you think it would take to get a PR for my family as well?

Is this a feasible idea?

Also Indian education system wise I have completed my Masters which counts as a four-year bachelors degree in Canada. Would it be possible for me to do a one-year Montessori diploma course and get a study visa for the same?

Yes - you can list your family as non-accompanying to get more points. If you do this - you must be prepared to be separated from them from most of a full year to be able to complete the sponsorship process and have them be approved to move to Canada.

Once you are a PR, you will be able to sponsor them as your family members. However you can only do this while living in Canada and you should expect processing to take around 1 year. During that time, you can take a few short (2-3 week) trips outside of Canada - however you must spend most of your time living in Canada. Also, it's highly likely they will not be approved for TRVs to visit you in Canada. So again, if you list them as non-accompanying in your application, you must be prepared to be separated from them for a period of time.

Thank you so much for your reply. Are there any financial conditions that I will have to satisfy to be able to do so?

Don't think you can get a student visa for montessori teacher training. Are you sure your masters has been evaluated as a bachelors degree? Unfortunately the website is not allowing me to see your past history at the moment.

I am not sure how to put that up here but unfortunately yes.

I have
1. Bachelors in Communicative English (3 years),
2. Bachelors in Education (B.Ed - 1 year) and
3. Masters in English Language and Literature (2 years) all from a particular University in India.

According to WES the Canadian Equivalency Summary is Bachelor's degree (four years) and Bachelor of Education

My IELTS score is 8.5 ( L 8.5,S 8.5 R 7.5 W 7)

I had received an ITA earlier last year but it was rejected duty discrepancies in the Police Verification. :(

Realized I meant to say you won't be able to get PGWP for motessori teacher training. You may be able to get a student visa if it is not available in your country. No guarantee that your family will be granted permission to accompany you.

3 year Bachelor degreesare no longeer granted in Canada and I have never heard of a 3 year masters so seems like it is a program/institution issue unfortunately.

sorry i meant a 2 year Masters.

If I apply alone and then receive my PR I would be able to do the course without any hassle for a year within which time I can sponsor my family. Am I right to assume that?

Yes. As long as you can prove that you have the funds to support your family once they arrive.

Will the proof of funds have to be shown in Canada or from where my family will be coming in from?

If you can't show the proof of funds they will ask you for more information and at that point you can show your husband's assets or promise of support from family.

Perfect. Thank you so much for your prompt replies. They have been really helpful.

I am very sorry but I have one more thing to clarify.

Can I apply to sponsor them as soon as I land in Canada or does it have to be a year after I have stayed? In short, how long would the process take from when I get my PR?

Ok. Final question (sorry)

I already have an active EE profile with 426 points at the moment with family showing as accompanying.

Should I / can I create another EE profile for myself while keeping the first one so that if all goes well I can travel with my family as opposed to going by myself?
