I'm from India. I've pursued B.Tech IT. I applied for student visa in Canada( diploma- computer programming course in Niagara college ). I got a rejection and as per the CAIPS note, the reasons are 1: poor academic. 2: the course was not ideal. 3: they feel I'm not a genuine student bcoz I won't leave Canada after completion of my student visa. I met a few visa agents and some of them told me that I should apply again and some of them told me that after getting poor academic as a reason of rejection, my chances of getting student visa are very low.
Now, what should I do ? Should I apply again? I have 11 backlogs and 6.5 bands. ( S:6.0, R:6.5, w:6.5, L:7.5 )

You still have these backlogs? or finished them? If yes then you need to finish them with good grades.

To be honest, low grades are not something easily fixable. It will always remain a red flag and will be difficult to convince how you will complete the course. Your reading, writing and speaking scores are also borderline low so command over language also is a question. You would need solid evidence to show you are capable to undertake this course and outline its benefit.

If you have poor academics, why would the VO believe you'll be a genuine student in Canada?

The agents in the second group are correct. How old are you? How many years of work experience do you have?

Is there any other way to convince VO ?

Sorry, i didn't get that. What's your point .?
You also were refused because "2. your course is not ideal." You have a B.Tech in IT and applied for a diploma course in computers at a college. This doesn't not show education or career progression.

You are 24 with little work experience who applied to take a diploma course when you just completed a degree in B.Tech. You need a program that builds on your education not retaking courses, and show career progression (better job, higher salary). You need to justify spending thousands of dollars. So you need a masters or post grad courses. A diploma makes no sense.
