Can graduate certificate program be accepted for PGWP?

Hi. I'm about to end a one year program but I need another one year program to qualify for 3 years PGWP. I intend to go for a graduate certificate program. Will there be an issue by the time I will want to apply for PGWP? The program is in lambton college.
