Hi guys,

I recently received the ITA and was in the process of collecting all the documents for employment verification. It is here that I hit a speed bump as my previous company (Infosys) does not issue Experience/Reference Letters but realized (after going through multiple sections on immigration forums) that the same results can be achieved through an affidavit signed by a previous manager. Unfortunately, all my previous manager have left Infosys and on asking current connections of my acquaintances, most seemed uneasy signing a legal document for a stranger. Now my question is -

Can a colleague (who is just a level above me but did not supervise) sign the reference letter for me without the chance of the ITA getting rejected?
(most of my friends are now Tech Analyst - [Level 4] while I was a Software Engineer - [Level 3] when I left Infosys 3 years back)

True. Infosys doesnt issue such letters. Yes, you can take letter from a colleague along with the following documents:

1. His/her business card
2. Email from HR that Infy doesnt issue such letters
3. Your paystubs
4. Relieving letter
