Hi I'm a college student. I know that to be eligible for PGWP, you have to maintain a full time student status at all times (which is 9 credits or more).

I have registered for 4 courses for the next semester so I have a total of 12 credits. I am thinking about dropping one course. Dropping one course will bring me down to 9 credits.

I know that is still considered full time....but will the action of dropping a course and reducing it to 9 credits itself have any impact on PGWP eligiblity? Will they question why I dropped the course and will it negatively impact my application?

As long as your transcript shows you still remain full-time during the semester after the drop, it doesn't matter.
