can dependent land first

Dear all forum members
We have received our immigration visa-PR visa for Canada in Sept 2011 which is valid till july 2012.
I am principal applicant.We plan to leave for Canada in June 2012 and go to Canada permanently.
In the mean my husband who is dependent in my application has received the interview call from Canada.
My question is that my husband has been asked to come earliest possible to Canada by the interviewing company where as we plan to go in June.Can my husband go on this dependent visa first and i can join him later.

No. The principal applicant must land first. Other dependents can accompany them at that time, or can land at a later date.

But a dependent cannot complete their record of landing before the principal applicant.

Its April and July isnt far off. I think you folks should move early... OR if you can afford goto Canada for a week or two, have your Residency formalities completed, appear in Interview and come back and go back in July.
