I have an existing FSW-O PR application (AoR Jan 2021) which I applied as Single with no dependents. In Feb 2021, by common law definition, my girlfriend and I got into a common-law partnership (living together for 12 consecutive months). Will I be able to add her to the PR application now?
I assumed it's possible but I just spoke to an immigration attorney who said that I won't be able to add her to the PR application now because, at the time of the application (Dec 2020), we technically weren't in a common-law partnership (living together for only 10 months at that time). So I'm confused now - can anyone confirm if it is possible or not? Thank you!
