Can CIC access our tax information?

Hey guys,
Does anybody know if CIC can access our tax information?
What do they use our T4s for? Can they check which employer sent tax deduction and how much?

No they cannot access it.
What do they use our T4s for? Can they check which employer sent tax deduction and how much?
T4's are to prove that you were paid; Tax's and CPP was deducted & EI Deduction is to verify that you were in employee-employer relation.

If they can't check it then you can just make your own t4s using the online tax calculator.

It is in the check list...As far as I recall it was written:...submit your most recent T4 AND NOA...

Yes you are right, NOA is an important document and need to be submitted.

But can they hypothetically find out if you give them a self-made T4?

Can they see which employer the taxes came from?
