I am in Canada on PGWP and my wife and parents visitor visa is approved. Currently, my wife is 6 months pregnant and we are planning to bring her in Canada. Is there a problem?
Can CBSA officer stop her entry because she is pregnant?

Yes, your wife can be denied entry. It will all depend on the officer.

It's really your choice. It's possible she may be allowed into Canada - also possible she may be refused entry and sent on the first plane back home.

my wife is 21 weeks pregnant and she is permanent resident of canada and we traveled to india and came back 10 days ago there was no issue for my case i think it depends on your wife status too

His wife is coming on a TRV. Your wife is a permanent resident. Completely different situation.

Your wife is a PR and has the right of entry to Canada. OP's wife is a foreign national and has no such right.

Your wife could be refused but you will definitely be asked to prove that you have the money to pay for any medical costs. Things can go wrong and some people have ended up with a million dollar bill to pay off. Given that your parents are also arriving this screams my family is in Canada to help with the birth. Have you looked into what kind of insurance coverage your wife may have? Are deliveries and prenatal care covered?

Also just to mention that whilst the wife if granted entry is to a degree as a spouse tied to the OPs PGWP validity the parents will have no such link so should not bank on an authorised stay as genuine visitors long enough to be present for the birth.

The OP didn’t apply for a SOWP just a TRV. Wife isn’t really a TRV and should have applied for an SOWP if he has a job In NOC 0, A or B and 3 pay stubs. Unclear when he got PGWP and whether he is working and in what NOC.

Point was making maybe not clearly was regardless of status was that the wife potentially has a reason for being in Canada with the OP but the parents do not so should not assume they can stay through the birth which seems possibly to be their intention.

Agree. At 6 months pregnant and not sure how close to 7 you have no guarantee you won’t have to pay for a delivery. Depends on what kind of funds they can show.
