Perhaps few if any PRs fly to Canada in private jets, but I wonder: could Canadian PR without valid PR card simply fly into Canada in their own jet?

I would think as long as it’s privately owned and not a charter, I would think it’s possible.

You can still get reported on arrival.

Question was asked in reference to non US Citizen PRs who can't fly to Canada by commercial jets. They are not in breach of RO, they just can't get to Canada by plane.

As to reporting, it has nothing to do with flying. As long as one presents himself to POE, one is subject to admissibility laws. But, that was not what I was asking about.

Wasn’t specified that they meet RO. They should still have to meet the PR card requirement but private planes have been known not to follow rules.

well, it wasn't also specified if one was using drug smuggling one prop. So, should we go onto further specifics? If intent was to "work around" RO , rather than ask about non US Citizen PRs ability to FLY into Canada, would you chime in and advise how will POE will report someone smuggled in by plane? Can smuggled person be reported?

Note, it was not my intent to ask about RO reporting in this thread, it was solely asking about PRs ability to FLY in private jet versus commercial (which we know PR with expired card can't do ),
but since you read more to it than there was, why not go even deeper? So, please answer if you know the answer

Have you ever watched the episodes of "Border Security: Canada Front line" in TV? There were scenes that the border officers questioned travelers in their private boats and container ships, conduct search and prevented contrabands from smuggled into the country?

I haven't. I don't like those shows made for PR/propaganda purposes and to sell advertisement. But I have read memoirs of middle to high ranking security officials, military officers, generals and intelligence operatives. Some government agents wrote books fighting the governments which were suing publishers to ban publications, often under national security guise. It should suffice to say that, according to what I have gathered from ranking security operatives (some are graduates of special academies where they were taught to infiltrate transnational crime rings and carry on undercover investigations), a lot of things happen across the border where border officers are ordered to stay back, with no authority to interfere in. There is a lot of illicit trade , human trafficking and more going on ,which is not for knowing of faint hearted , and it is not what you see on those prime time shows.

They are real people. In the past, I saw some familiar border officers' faces at the airport.

People in shows could be real, but the story in those shows is not full, therefore I don't watch them

The US also have similar showing about their border patrols. Never watched them?

Aside from shows (which I don't watch for reasons mentioned above, I read the books instead), if you ask me about US Border patrol I have to mention that it will not treat you the same way Canadian will (I realize this is not applicable to every single patrol man and every imaginable circumstance at POE, but having crossed the US border many times, and having seen hundreds, may be thousands of others cross through POE in front of me, I can say that I haven't seen same behavior/attitude in US border patrol as I have in Canadian). Part of the reason could be that US Border officials have access to more information about border crossing individuals (huge amounts of metadata analyzed by algorithms, access to all databases where red flags raised and etc.) , while Canadians may have to rely more on "gut feelings", and some among them decide to profile and intimidate in order to "break you up", like cops do with suspects they have absolutely no evidence against, assuming that criminal will fold down (and never concerned what it will do to an innocent man). And I find it wrong, to use these outdated tactics against legitimate travelers, who have cleared dozens of background checks to become PRs and haven't done anything (other than in the imagination of the border agent) to be mistreated. That kind of zeal should be reserved for drug smugglers, pedophiles, human traffickers', and never used against innocent men minding their business and traveling from point A to point B.

^^This from an individual who (in own words) says landed in Canada years ago 'for a few days' and basically has not returned (obvious as in significant breach of entry requirement).

Skeptical minds might inquire whether the sample experiences are at all comparable (how much has crossed the Canadian border, which is the question to hand), or whether this is simply invented experience and youtube expertise.

There is a good reason I keep in my ignore list trolls who read one thing ("if you ask me about US Border patrol I have to mention that..." , "having crossed the US border many times, and having seen hundreds, may be thousands of others cross through POE in front of me....", with no mention of number of times Canadian border was crossed) , and then see into it something that isn't there (such as: "if you ask me about Canadian Border patrol I have to mention that..." , "having crossed the Canadian border many times, and having seen hundreds, may be thousands of others cross through POE in front of me....".

Let them trolls continue arguing with their imaginary Straw Men
