Hi. I'm going to apply for CEC and I need to get the reference letter from my previous employer. As it's really hard to get one from them, I'm so worried to get the proper one, so I don't need to ask them again.
I worked there as an Electrical and electronic component quality control inspector and then promoted to Electrical and electronic component quality control supervisor which supervise the former. I have many difficulties to find the proper NOC for the 2nd title and align tasks with it. I chose NOC 2141 and following is my actual responsibilities of the job. I really appreciate if anyone can help me to check how much they are aligned.

From xxxx to February yyyy as a Quality control engineer (NOC numeric code: 2141, skill level A):
  • Conducting the quality control process of incoming material to ensure the conformance to the ISO 9001 standard.
  • Supervising electronic and electrical components inspectors working in the laboratory and assessing the performance on a regular basis.
  • Reviewing the test reports and analysis of components, provided by the electronic and electrical components inspectors, to make the final decision.
  • Reviewing the documents, including forms, specification sheets, and test instructions, to ensure the sufficiency of the requirements and test methods.
  • Creating new technical instructions based on the researches on the components.
  • Equipping the laboratory with the required test equipment, creating maintenance plan for the equipment to ensure the proper performance, and checking the calibration validity.
  • Providing technical trainings for electronic and electrical components inspectors.
  • Engaging in the RMA (Return Material Authorization) process by preparing the non-conforming reports.
