Can anyone explain this?

Hi,

I am new to this forum. I know that first step in IELTS in getting your case ready. I sat my IELTS exam on July 30th.
I was supposed to receive result yesterday. I checked online and my results were: L8 R8 S7.5 W6.5 ...... I know that test results can be withheld. Now today, i received an email from BC saying my tests have been withheld.

Do you think my band scores can change? Or keeping the results in my mind, should prepare for the next sitting to aim 7/7.5 in writing?

According to BC, results are unlikely to change. You will need to request a remark or resit.

do a retest, in the meanwhile register for another IELTS test and write again... just so that you dont waste more time...

only by increasing writing score by 7.5 you will improve your overall score by 10s of points... every single point is crucial
