Hi, following the results of the 2024 election, I am wondering if there is any possible way to access HRT testosterone injections from Canada if the United States bans it or makes it inaccessible for FTM trans patients. We are scared out here. Do you have to have a residency? If possible, what is the process? If it’s expensive then so be it. Thanks

Pharmacies can’t directly accept a prescription from a US doctor . That prescription has to go thru a Canadian prescriber then they request the hrt.
It’s called co-signing

In other words you need to find a Canadian prescriber first

"As for getting HRT testosterone injections from Canada, it’s possible, but there are a few things to keep in mind. Generally, you don’t need to be a Canadian resident to order medications, but you may need a prescription from a doctor. Some pharmacies will allow international orders, and you could potentially have your doctor help with the process. It might be more expensive than local options, but your health is worth it.

I’ve personally used https://deuschem.com for some of my own health supplements, and they’ve been reliable and professional. They’re a trusted source, and I’ve heard good things about their services for people needing specific treatments. It might be worth checking them out for advice or resources too. "

I just want to ask if anyone has had recent luck getting short-term hormone prescriptions through a walk-in clinic while visiting? I’m wondering how strict they are now with requiring a local ID or health card, especially for something like continuing HRT you’ve already been prescribed elsewhere. Curious how recent experiences have gone.

A cousin of mine had to figure it out when local access got tight, and using reputable sources made it way safer. I checked out balkanpharm for info on legit options and guidance, and it helped her avoid sketchy suppliers while keeping her treatment consistent.

Probably not something most walk-in clinics would be willing to do. Would contact local LGBTQIA+ organization to see if they work with a specific MD who may be willing to prescribe to a visitor.
