Hi Friends,
I have a photocopy (not notarized; just a plain copy) of IELTS result submitted at the time of my PR application. Will this copy work with Citizenship application too or do i need sealed/orginal copy? Thanks.

Photocopy (of general IELTS used for PR purposes) will work as far as the application is concerned. However, you're required to carry the original with you to the interview. That being said, if your conversational english is good, they likely won't bother asking for the original, as is with most cases on this forum.

I would suggest to have alternative language proofs like a university degree or transcripts completed in English available.

Yes,Photocopy is acceptable.

Thank you gentlemen!

You dont need to carry the original to the interview as it would have been submitted along with your pr application and CIC knows this fact.

Just in case if they ask during interview, copy is enough. But trust me, they won't even ask for it. As long as you can converse in English, they won't ask for English proof.
