Can a Management graduate work as a bookkeeper and apply for PR under CEC

Hi ,
I have done a two year diploma in Business Management- General Business from a college in British Columbia. And I got a job as a bookkeeper. Can I apply for PR after a year under CEC? Would it be considered. And also, I am being paid 12 dollars an hour. Is this job good enough or Do I need to change and find another management job?

For Job: if you conduct all (or most) of the duties mentioned in NOC code for book keepers, and a full time job for at least an year (part time equivalent), its eligible to apply for PR; provided you have received an Open Work Permit (my guess is that that you have Post Grad Work permit)

For earnings, seniors might give a better suggestion.
