So my brother and her wife got their PR approved.
Since they are expecting a baby soon, he plans on doing his landing first and later his wife will. (February-march)

Is that advisable? He doesnt want her to travel to canada in the winter given her circumstance.

What is the time frame within which you have to do the landing?
And can they both do separate landing even if they applied together?

Yes, they can land at different times but the Principal Applicant must land first. A dependent can not land before the PA.

Just to add you both must of course land whilst the COPRs are valid. Also assume you are taking into account the time needed for the babys passport application and also how the baby will in fact come to Canada given they would not have been included in the PR application.

February-March is still pretty much winter.

If he lands before the birth and she doesn't, the child cannot be added to the app and her COPR is no longer valid. He would then have to sponsor both of them, requiring him to be in Canada for the whole process.

If the child is born before COPR expiry, they should not land and instead add the child to the app.

Primary Applicant has to land first.

Thanks for all the amazing advice, everyone.
He probably will go as his Lawyer consults to avoid the hassle of doing the process alone.
