Can a file be lost after AOR?

Hi, Calgary applicant here, my citizenship application was received Oct 16th and I received my AOR Nov 8th.
I see people with AORs Late Nov to early December getting their status in Process. do you think there is a possibility of CIC misplacing/loosing a file after the AOR?

No. They have your info in GCMS too. Stop overthinking. :)

Your application came in during a time when 10's of thousands (maybe way more, even) were flooding their offices. It's not likely it's lost, just in a pile somewhere. They will get to it eventually.

It took them almost 3 months to return my file due to an error. So the status never changed into IN PROCESS after receiving the AOR.

What kind of error are you talking about ??

It was my fault. I mention my multi city trips separately.
