Dear All,

I got my COPR under the Federal Skilled Workers program. The Port of Entry mentioned in my COPR is Toronto, Ontario. As an immigrant who did not immigrate under Quebec's special immigration program, would there be problems down the road if I settle down in Quebec? I will complete the POE formalities in Toronto and stay there for few weeks/months. After getting the PR at an address in Toronto, can I move to Montreal in Quebec to take up the job?

I honestly had no intention of settling in Quebec when I first applied for immigration. I'm actually trying for internal transfer in my current organisation and would like to understand if I can move to Quebec or not?

Congrats on your COPR. Can I ask did you apply for pr from Quebec or you applied outland? If you applied outland, I think there is no problems

Hi,
Thanks for your wishes.

I didn't apply for PR from Quebec. I applied for PR under Federal Skilled Immigration program (express entry) from India and opted for Toronto for POE.
