I came to Canada on a full time student visa. Can I become a part time student if I get a job hare?

Thanks for your help guys.

you're only allowed to work max 20hrs as a student.

By the way - the answer to your question is found here:

If the OP goes to www.cic.gc.ca/ he/she will find a lot of information as to his/her plan and will be able to make an informed decision from that. Not just for a possible future PGWP but also for the more immediate question.

lol u should also point OP to www.google.com too. pointing to an official site is a no brainier. I pointed him to something which may have an impact on his future and I wanted him to specifically look at it. by pointing him to general site he may miss PGWP requirements as there is a lot of information and taking it in small doses is better. This forum is for information if everybody points to official site there was no need for this forum.

Google would only bring up a lot of hear say that you'd have to sift through before you end up cic anyway. Might as well go straight to the horse's mouth, so to speak.

The thing is, the OP wouldn't even get as far as a PGWP as the OP will find out when he/she goes to CIC and read up on wether he/she can study part time and be eligible to work as well. You and I both know the answer to that already. 8) :P

No.

itstime, some people could not express themselves clearly (I not sure: always or only in English?) so there is no sense to communicate with them.

sorry but if pointing to an official site was a no brainer, then the OP would've gone to the official CIC site and figured it out. Yes, this forum is for information but that doesn't mean that people shouldn't try to figure out things for themselves. There are definitely issues and circumstances that could benefit from opinions and advice on this forum. However, basic information that is available does not need to be regurgitated here.
