I currently live in the US, and I have a friend that lives in Canada. We really want to talk to each other, but we don't want to use Skype and I dont know where to buy calling cards . Does anyone know a store that's common throughout the United States and that sells calling cards to Canada? Thank you so much in advance! This really means a lot to me. I dont care how much it costs, as long as it's not a totally ridiculous price.

pretty much any calling card will be able to call canada. just check the rules of the card before purchasing. i'm guessing any big pharmacy will have them, such as cvs. or you can try convenient stores lik 7/11. Also, check your cable/phone provider. many of them will have packages for free calls to canada, also chck out internet based phone services. magic jack or vonage are ones to check out, as you will not be charged for calls to canada.

I tried MJ, skype, viber and found that for most of the times free service is not clear and not reliable.

the magic jack is more reliable when you don't use it through the computer, and you hook it up to an old fashion land line type of phone. any landline service that has free calls to canada are just as reliable and clear as their regular local service.

you can purchase calling cards online Have a look at www.ontariophonecards.ca I only call Canada and the U.A.E , but they have some good cards on there with good rates and reviews.
