thanks JB007,
can't say what they CIC is looking for, I think more than NOC its the visa officer's role.
CIC might have assigned new team for the recent applications who might have less burden of applications.
Anyways good luck with your application, hope to hear a good news from you :)
Thanks a great lot! Cheers!

Dear Indianaspirant & JB007,

Thanks for all your info !

I remember you all discussing and going ahead with the option of "2 or more Certificate" for One Year Graduate Study declared by WES.For MSc done after BSc, so wanted to confirm the same.

Thanks !!!
Yes that's correct. Made most sense to me. However,my evaluation had 'One year Post Graduate Certificate ' as my highest degree so my doubts were further cleared. I'm sure it will be ok for you too. Wish you the very best of luck! !

There are few more DM and ppt in July thread. From their spreadsheet u can see about 30% of outlanders ( fsw) got ppl in less than 2 months. Good thing.
Before I became a part of this forum, I was amazed at the six month time promise, but seeing ppl get it in 20 days makes me soo soo anxious, I know I will get a schedule A request as my spouses visa was refused years ago and they will ask for explanation, I will also get rprf request as I didn't pay upfront so my processing will take longer but the inactivity is nerve racking

Thanx same to you n to all of us

Any more indians out here ??

Existing posters any updates ?? Even ghost emails count ....none whatsoever here :(

No update. No ghost mails....Waiting waiting and waiting.............

Little off topic, but it would be great if someone can provide some insights on this -

I am aware of the contents of the CIC site where it says that Delhi Residents can get a PCC from Passport office while others need to reach out to the local police station.

My query is as below -

1. Has anyone from outside of Delhi (like Noida, Ghaziabad or Gurgaon) got a PPR with a PCC issued from Passport office ?
2. In case anyone has got it done from a local police station in Noida / Ghaziabad, can they share some pointers on how to proceed ?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Stick to getting it from the passport office as that will be the best way for Delhi region.

Challenge is that I am based in Noida and hence as per the CIC site I need to go to local police station.

Dear JB007,

My ECA report reads like this:

CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY
Postgraduate diploma (one year)

1. Credential: Bachelor of Arts
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (four years)

2. Credential: Master of Arts
Canadian Equivalency: Postgraduate diploma (one year)

As I clearly have more than one certificates, with one being atleast three years, I should be getting points for "Two or more...."

I just created my profile but I'm getting points only for bachelor's degree.

What am I doing wrong? What should I do? Please advise. I shall be indebted.

Hi everyone,
With the recent discussions I realised maybe the local VO has a bigger role to play other than just stamping. So let's compare our time lines to get a better sense of the process... Find mine in my signature.

What was the score that you had got?

Lot of Questions from India :)

Dear Members,

I have continuous work experience in one of the NOC codes for only last 3 years out of a total 4 years. Rest of the work experience that i have is not available in any of the NOC codes.

Q. Should I only show the work experience that is applicable in one of the NOC & leave out the rest ? If yes, then will the CIC ask me about what I was doing during the gap .. i have total 4+ years of work experience. Will this go against my profile.

Q. The reference letters are one of the difficult things to get. I have seen the standard formats. Can someone who has already receiver the PR, please share the format they shared the reference letter in so that we can get it in that way.

Q. If i was not working for 5-6 months due to certain reasons, nor was I studying, will i have to give explanation & proof for those months that i was not doing anything. If yes, where & when will they ask me. i do not see any place where they have requested for such info in the forms. I do not want to be surprised at a rejection just becuz i did not know what to provide where :)

Q. Can someone please guide on the FUnds proof. My father is ready to provide the money to me as a gift. Will the CIC ask my proofs as to where my dad got that money. Or if Dad transfers the money to my account & says its a gift, that should suffice & CIC will not look into where my dad go the money from :)

Q. If I get an ITA & I apply with all the docs, I will also have to pay some about as cost of recovery. I know if they reject my application for incomplete documentation, they will refund the money. But please let me know if it goes for processing, what are the reasons that they can refuse my request since if the e-APR goes into processing, I will not be able get any refund if they reject my profile.

Sorry for asking so many questions but its a huge step i am taking & i would really need help of all other members if the forum.

Thank You & hoping for some responses !!
