Hi everyone,
With the recent discussions I realised maybe the local VO has a bigger role to play other than just stamping. So let's compare our time lines to get a better sense of the process... Find mine in my signature.

Bummppiiinnnggggg

Electronic client application status. It tells about status of ur application just google it u will find info
You get access to it only after submitting application

I thought there's a lot f us but I guess not, anyways it'll help to have companions on this journey :)

Not all application goto local VO plus in the EE process it's become tougher to predict when the application is with a local VO if at all. What has been your experience?

There should be more. Because July report says 420 ITAs to Indians. But good that we are both from August
Good luck

I read on the cic website that after eligibility etc being done at Cic Canada they forward the app to VO indicated by the applicant so essentially that must be the local VO for further checking and admissibility check.... So local Vos according to me can not be bypassed but yes their role may be very small for easier cases where not a lot of countries r involved Otherwise the files maybe going to and from a lot f times....but i obviously am speculating and Nothing more.... But why I created this thread is coz I've seen outlanders from India get their applications processed in 2-2.5 months I've seen multiple cases but it'll be great to keep a track with each other so that we can know what to expect

2-2.5 months is soothing to know. My life is totally on hold. Further movement will be according to CIC decision.

Can we outlanders order GCMS notes ??

my status is as below. Have seen many applications processed in 2months. at the same time some have taken longer than 5 months. Lets hope our applications wont take much longer...

We can't order GCMS from here, we can ask frnds or relatives in Canada to do it for us.... And Rahul is ur Ecas showing in progress or in process?

@ indianaspirant. ECAs is in process. So in progress comes after in process or before.??
