Hi everyone, had a subject already, but so confused

Past 1 level, had interview in Jun

Never did medical, never did fingers

Got the letter saying

We are pleased to inform you that processing your application for PR will be finalized at your next interview, on October 6

Bring

Quebec selection
2 photos for permanent resident
And identification , passport

And to pay the fee for Pruff of right for PR fee

Called my lawyer, he told me it a good news but we don't know way they are calling

Anybody bin in similar situation

Thank you so much 8) :o

Is your application an inland sponsorship? If so, then this is your landing interview and this both standard and good news!

I had interview in Montreal in jun, I had sediment my documents in side of Canada. But first interview was related to relationship, but second we don't know. Usually when you get this template is a good news. But with out medical you can get PR
They don't call to tell you in your face you been refused, but we don't know what to expect now

Thank you for answering

So what's happened is that they approved without a medical exam?

This seems very odd and like they just want to get through applications no matter what.

yes your first interview was for evaluation of your application. But the second one you are called for sounds like the standard inland landing interview that all inland applicants do to become a PR. Even the text in the letter implies this:

"We are pleased to inform you that processing your application for PR will be finalized at your next interview"

But to have been approved without submitting medical or PCC?!

( I assume that's what the OP meant by saying "no fingers" [fingerprints]).

ohhh.... hmmm... the tone of the letter sounds very positive. And they ask for RPRF (which is good)...

I don't know what is going on then...

Thanks everyone, it's so stressful

Just to confirm, you never ever sent CIC medicals or police certificates?

Nope

And lawyer told me they don't call you to tell you you are refused.

So?? Don't know

It sounds like an approval letter, but I just don't see how they could do that without you having taken a medical exam. It would be different if the medical had simply expired and they are extending the validity, but...no medical at all?

Maybe they realize that because of the medical restrictions being waived for a spousal sponsorship (except for things like active TB, for example), why bother.

Good luck!

Odd, maybe you just slipped through the system somehow, it's just people doing these applications after all, not some all-knowing robot. Though that would be cool.

It's just too strange not to ask for it... I guess the OP will just have to go to the interview and hope for the best. The letter certainly sounds positive so I'm cautiously optimistic...

Thank everybody, will write you on 6 October

I hope for the best
