Hi Everybody,

My application is being "processed" since November 2010 (30 months, St.Clair)
I called CIC on Friday to ask if there is any news.

A pleasant Call Center Agent said: "No, but... call again in 2-3 weeks for an update" (!)

Would it be better to call, say, in 2 months? - I asked.
He replied: "No, 2-3 weeks is fine... If you won't be notified earlier".

What do you think?
Did he just try to be nice? Instilling false hopes?

Until now I thought, that the CIC agents do not see much on their computer screens. Do they now?

Maybe s/he noticed some updates on your file? Just phone them back in 3 weeks as s/he advised to. Maybe there are some good news expected for you! :)

Walitys,

Stay positive and believe in the power of the universe ! With SO MANY people complaining and so much bad press they are already coming around to getting with the program - and with all these stories in the press and on the radio etc they are being indirectly pressured to do more.

And then there is Fall 2015 when a new Goverment will be elected. By then, there will be even more streamlining....I think if they do any more game playing ...all the immogrants will rise and it will become a very big embarassing protest !
