Does CIC refer our application according to our home address? I used my address here in Calgary to apply but I live in Toronto, only in Calgary for a contractual work since last yer.

Yes, the bulk of processing is handled by office closest to your home location.

Online applications are new thing, I missed on it, shipped my application on November 29, 2020, Arrived Dec 3, 2020, AoR March 2, 2020. Waiting...

I should've applied online :-/

Thanks. I am wondering if changing the address to another province would slow down the process, especially after if the application is in process. Moreover, do we have to inform CIC if we were to leave for more than 2 weeks? I think I read it somewhere on CIC website and some other people that we do not need to.

Calgary.. calgary..!! what’s going on with our applications? I haven’t seen any movement from our office here in YYC.. any updates anybody or know somebody whose application is in calgary as well and has an update ? Im June 2020 applicant and after AOR in November.. nothing!

I don't want to disappoint you but my application was received by IRCC on June 4th and then I submitted an urgent processing request in Feb but nothing

That probably means your urgent request was not accepted and your application will be processed normally.

I don't think so, I had a very good case supported by a letter from my employer
