calaculating Your absences from canada

how did you count your absences from Canada - did you consider the date of entry stamp to another country as date of exit from canada?


so entry stamp in other country = exit date from canada? or (entry stamp from other country -1) = exit date from Canada?


can u pls share your experience?

Depends on where I was going:

U.S. Entry record = exit date from Canada, for me.

Europe/further afield entry record = exit date from Canada minus 1, for me. But sometimes depended on flight times .

When in doubt I've erred on the side of caution. However, I've never been so close to the RO as to be counting in days to make it ...
