I started this topic to try to understand how long does it take from the 2nd Medical to get the Passport request...

so who's here got requested to redo the medical without having an interview and until now did get asked for the passport or with passport request??

Please update us with your
1)current e-case status?
2)when you were asked to redo the medical?
3)when did you get your passport requested if applicable?

Thanks

I reviewed a few of your most resent posts.

From what I understand: you went in process and are concerned about your medical expiring? Or you have been requested to redo the medical? (Please confirm which)

From the experiences I have and or know(heard from other members) regarding the Cairo Visa office:

The medicals can be extended without any knowledge/consent and or confirmation up until 15 months of the original medical examination date.

The files that are requested to have an interview do not go in process until AFTER the interview.

*From my experience the Cairo VO was pretty quick to post everything on ecas. However, the file was in process without them changing that. Why else did they know to call for an interview? Obviously someone had already been looking at the file. Right? This is why I am sure (but still could be wrong) that you will not be asked for an interview. Also, a few others I have asked that did not have an interview went directly to in process.*

With regards to ecas:

Firstly it is unreliable at best.

The medicals received line MAY be removed once they expire, they MAY reappear once new results have been entered after a request to redo them.

I have heard that some others have waited 2 months or more for the results to be received to their respective VO.

I really think you are well on your way to being done with all of this! Hope you get DM and PPR soon!!

I know you are looking for others to reply that have had to redo the medicals, but I hope you don't mind me replying anyways. And hey bumping it back up might get others to view and reply.

Thanks MadeIn Canada I appreciate your response, I've already submitted my second medicals and they received it. My whole concern is when they will ask for PPR!! Or How long does it take from the medical to the ppr!
I wonder if I calling them or ordering CAIPS notes would move the file from the shelf again!!
