CAIPS notes request

I like to access my CAIPS notes and see what is in it. I have already migrated to Canada. But I am interested to see what is in my file.

Is it a good idea to check? Will it cause any trouble to me later on when applying for citizenship

No issues.
Instead of CAIPS, you can ask for "FOSS" notes, which is all the info in Canada including the caips info.
Make sure you only ask for electronic file.

Field Operational Support System. Why would you want it if you haven't been in Canada? It was only used for In Canada processing before GCMS.
