Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi guys i am stressed out and need help. i received my caip notes today and under the if ineligible field it says DISCONTINUE. what does this mean? >:(

SPONSORSHIP - FAMILY CLASS
CSC DATE:
If Ineligible: DISCONTINUE
Misrepresentation:
Family Size: 2
SA's Met For:
Status: PASSED

It means if the sponsor is found to be ineligible to sponsor the applicant, the application will be rejected and you will get the fees back, minus $75. You must have chosen this option - you can also choose to continue the application if the sponsor is found ineligible.

In my opinion, choosing to end the application if the sponsor is ineligible is the right thing to do (in almost all cases). If the sponsor is ineligible, continuing with the application just means the applicant will not get a PR visa in the end (because the sponsor is ineligible). If the sponsor is ineligible, it is better (that is, faster and cheaper) to find out right away, fix the problem, then reapply. (Again, in almost all cases.)

thank you canadianwoman! yes i did choose that option.
