I work for a non-profit childcare centre as an Infant Toddler Educator. Would this qualify under the C51 charitable work LMIA exemption code?

Thank-you for your response! May i ask for the reasoning behind? I have been told yes by one immigration specialist and no from another and I am just trying to figure out which is correct!
The employer is a daycare not a truly charitable organization. If this were the case then most daycares in Canada could be eligible. Ask a lawyer.

Do you only serve low income and vulnerable populations? Are all spots subsidized?

We are a registered non-profit childcare centre that does receive subsidy from the government to make it a 10 dollar a day for low income populations to be able to afford daycare.

But is the daycare in a low income area, are all users low income, are all users subsidized. Many daycares are registered non profits. Even the YMCA is a registered non profit, and cannot see them being eligible. The issue is that your work must be in vulnerable areas serving a low income area and being in the centre of that area. Your employer can try and if refused, then you will know.

Thank-you for your advice! So appreciated!
