Buffalo Vs Sydney

Hello,

I have been seeing that some people are mailing applications in Buffalo and some are mailing in Sydney. Can anyone please tell me which destination is for what ? I am confused on the difference between the two.

This is a recent change in the immigration rules. Now all FSW applications are to go to Sydney, NS first. At the second stage, if found eligible, your application will be transferred to the local visa office (Buffalo, for eg.) and further processing will happen there.

I live in Massachusetts, so according to the above link my initial application should be mailed to Sydney. How much in US dollars is the application fee? I am not able to find the link for the fee.. Any help would be appreciated..

You have to send the fee in Canadian funds $550.
