Hey goleafs27, same for me.. they asked me to update my docs last week and i send it and as per canada post it got deliver on last friday. dont know how long it will take for PPR now.. :-X

I see you are FSW1.. what documnets did they request and how many days did they give to submit?

Hello to all,
Ok so i had applied from buffalo and you can see my time line under my info so after long time in month of May 2012 i received an letter from buffalo office that we will not be able to process your application b'cas officer is not satisfied with the job experience and he gave me some time to give more explanation for my job experience and I did send them a detailed letter with all explanations and extra documents, and just forgot about the application thinking that it is declined.
But yesterday I just got an e-mail from ottpilot-immigration and they are asking me to submit my medicals/ PCC/RPRF within 60 days
So what will be my next step and what should I expect I mean I really forgot about the application thinking it is declined once I submit this documents how long it might take for next step.
Any idea what’s going on with my application?

They asked me to submit
• Updated IMM0008 “Generic Application Form For Canada”Cover Letter.
• Updated IMM5669 “Schedule A”.
• Updated evidence of settlement funds (showing 6 months deposits/ withdrawals history).
• Updated letter of current occupation.

They gave me 60 days to submit the documents...

I see you are FSW1.. what documnets did they request and how many days did they give to submit?

Hi Trick,

I got PPR email from Ottawa on 19th Feb 2013 and they asked me to send my passport to NY office in 15 days.. I sent my passport on 20th Feb to NY office and today my ECAS is updated to "We transferred your application to the New York office on February 19, 2013. The New York office may contact you"

I sent only 4 pictures , that PPR email and one form........is that ok? i didn't send any pre paid courier or xpresspost for passport return....is that ok? Plz advise

Its ok Jenny. It is stated in PPR email that

Standard Procedure: The Consulate will return documents to addresses in Canada via U.S. Postal
Service First Class Mail (Regular Mail).

Courier Service: Unless it is prepaid from a corporate account, we will not return your documents using
ANY courier services (Fedex, UPS, DHL).


So, they will return your passport & documents in U.S Postal first class mail...

mine is gonna expire in June. Hopefully, I can get it before June. Bless......

Hi, one of my friends got enquiry/verification from immigration officer for experience in employment. In his online status, it is still RBVO but processing is going on his case. In what situation online status gets updated to "we started processing your file.......?" Thanks

I submitted my passport to NY consulate in person for my PR stamping on Friday, Feb 22, 2013 and i sent them a email on Feb 25th regarding my medical expire date
and they replied me same day and they mentioned in email that visas were issued and they are in process to prepare the mailing package.

I don't know why they are taking too much time to prepare a package. I gave them return express envelope and i am checking a tracking number everyday
but nothing came up. Do you know exactly how long it will take to get the passport back normally?

They asked me the same documents on Jan 22, 2013 and i sent them everything by Jan 28 and i got PPR on Feb 22, 2013.
You are almost there.
