My Thought.....

I think it is positive. Make sure that he sends the CV in accordance with NOC code he applied . It should atleast match more than 80%.

I guess the CIC analyst would review it and if it does match with NOC code he should be getting the MR.

Hi Anil,

Has your file been transferred from Ottawa to NY office?. If that is the case,Do u know at what stage your file is?.

I am asking because my file has been transferred from Ottawa to Detroit.However,Detroit office got closed.My guess is my file has been transferred to NY office as I live close to it.

Anyway if possible keep sharing information so that we know what is happening at NY office.

I got PPR email from Ottawa on 19th Feb 2013 and they asked me to send my passport to NY office in 15 days.. I sent my passport on 20th Feb to NY office and today my ECAS is updated to "We transferred your application to the New York office on February 19, 2013. The New York office may contact you"

I have similar timelines like you. I applied in April 2010.
Medicals are done in MAY 2012.. waiting for passport request.

from May2012 till date did they(CPP-O) request any additional documents in between? something like proof of funds or FBI or state PCC?

Usually for most of the cases who have Medicals done before the file transfer to CPP from Buffalo have some kind of request of documents in betweeen from Ottawa and then they started getting the PPR now

How about you? Also can you update your time lines under your id? Just double click on your id and you can update them.

they requested updated cocuments from last week, medicals done April 2012, applicaiton filed April 2010

since they asked you the updated docs which is positive so expect the PPR . Not sure when but it should be soon enough and before May I suppose as they re open for fresh applicants in May.


Keep checking the Ecas on tuesdays and thursdays atleast. for couple of my friends who has their Medicals in April and May 2012 the CPP-O asked for updated documents in Nov2012. THey did send that and recently during Feb 11 week thei Ecas was not showing . Immediately in two weeks they got the PPR request

So hopefully this happens .. But this may not happen to all though...

The letter they sent me they only gave me 30 days to submit my documents( which i already mailed out last week) and i have been reading on the forums the type of documents they request. I am a FSW2 living in Canada for the last 6 years and they asked me for my rlast 2 years of T4's and notice of assesments and just a letter from my employer saying that i work fulltime.

I will let you know if i do hear back from them anytime in the near future. I have not seen many members on this particula thread who got the request to redo medicals or who got PPR after their medicals expire so i think them giving me only 30 days and knowing my medicals expire in April 2013 might just be a good sign. but you never know..
