One of the millions who's frustrated of the current happenings in Buffalo or even in Ottawa,
I applied June 2010 and biggest regrets made in my life is I opted to submit my docs to buffalo instead of my country of citizenship. Or else couldn't be a sad sad sad story. " waiting" sucks!

Not sure when they will start it. As of now I think we are seeing more PPR( atleast something is moving)

Hopefully they start the MED REQ also.

I found some people reporting that it switches back to "In progress" at some point
and that this may be related to processing of your PR card.
Have you checked it earlier? Was it "completed" at any point?
Do you have anything about landing in the details?

I don't think it ever became completed; no regular landing - i have all the proper paperwork and the proof of PR. I asked the CIC via email, they told me just to wait and its fine.
So I think I will relax and wait, I just really need my PR before the new year...

My lawyer informed me one shocking news.

One of his client's medicals were expired and ottawa rejected their file and return the file after 2.5 years of waiting.
this is unbarable and so painful. I don't know what's going on...
Got stuck in US b/c my OPT expires in 2 weeks and then don't know what to do?
My medicals have been done since April 2012. And waiting for PPR...

dear , after medical and landing fees they cannot reject file with out any solid proof like if their any scurity concerns or something like that
other wise no way they can not reject

This really shocking ? Do you think the rejection was because of medicals expired or because medical unfitness or some other reason !!! Likely unfitness or something else

I am pretty sure they declined him for other reasons( Med unfitness or Security, They will reject you if they think you are a national threat to the country). I had 3 friends who had to do medical again because it was expired. They simply ask you to do medical exam again.

Let's just breathe..... Question folks, cuz one time I phoned the call center inside Canada # and after waiting for hours and hours i was able to connect with the worst call center agent I guess. I simply asked her that since we did already our medicals for fsw category 2 and week after that medical request for our PNP category came thru email, I was asking if that medicals we did was enough also to cover for the PNP and she replied "it's your choice" isn't reason why they are being phoned is to get clarifications? they really proves that their systems are TIME wasting. I may sounds bitter my excuse... Anyways, anybody can help me with my question? Much appreciated.
