Dear Friends,

Our file from Buffalo office started to move and we received the medicals on 20th March but it was posted on 27th Feb (postal delay US - India) and we did our medicals on 24th March 2012. The DMP sent the report on 27th March and it received Ottawa office on 29th March and I had been calling Ottawa office couple of times to make sure it has reached.

Yesterday I was informed that the report was sent to Buffalo office. Meanwhile I also paid my RPRF and also sent them the Original PCC. I had been sending emails and case specific inquiries and have been getting ready replies from them.

Yesterday I sent an inquiry just to know whats happening and today I got a reply asking me to sent the PCC and I replied that it has been already sent to Buffalo office. I also attached the tracking details, PCC copies.

A small advise if anyone waiting for passport after medicals it means that the VO is doing the security check so please update the visa office with the lates PCC's from the countries you have lived for more than 6 months.

I am able to do all these only with the help of this forum. I really appreciate the help extended to me in all my stages of PR application.

Thanks for the update regarding your medical received by Visa Office.

As far as i have been reading CIC updates with the medical received line about 5 to 6 weeks after the DMP sends the medicals and about 5 to 6 weeks to get PPR. Also elsewhere i read in the forum that the London visa office is targeting to complete with pre-juners before end of June this year.So lets hope that Buffalo will follow the suit.

Medical results have been received

I did not have my medical done yet!!! However, I did medical for Refugee application and results were sent to Ottawa by MDD. Could they count this medical as for PR application. It's still valid and it has, exactly, the same procedure.
I am happy. All of these last three lines were add within one week. Then, hope they ask me for passport request soon.

Looks like Buffalo is speeding up. My initial application was sent to NS late March 2010 and later transferred from Buffalo to Seattle in Nov 2011 (or Jan 2012) depending on which email you believe

Seems May 2010 applications are now moving faster than March 2010 ones. Maybe all the transferred files gave Buffalo more time on their hands. Hopefully they'll get to the transferred files eventually.

I also did the MR in advance at the end of January and it reached Ottawa at the beginning of Feb. I sent the email to Buffalo last week to check if they received my MR. They replied that they haven't gotten the MR. Based on your timeline, it only took less than 1 month. Do you know how to check the status of my MR in Ottawa? Thanks.

Hey call this number 613-941-6641 and give ur file number to see whether the Ottawa office had received the medicals and if so they will forward the same immediately. Sometimes if the file is not in process they will not forward the medicals to the VO.
