Buffalo VO FSW ( pre june and non transferred applicants) share timeline plz :)

Hi guys
I applied as a fsw 1 from buffalo in may 2010
Recieved medical 27th feb 2013
Paid fee and send them medical receipt on 4th march 2013

Could you plz tell me how long may it take for passport request.
If someone got passport request recently ,, may know how long are
They taking these days ?

I suggest you could refer to the summary table of the timeline for many members here throughout the thread. That will be helpful and for your reference.
BTW, Did you get any additional documents requested by CIC before you got medical? When did your case get into In Process?

FSW3
Applied - Feb 2010
Tranf to Buffalo - April 2010
AOR - May 2010
Inprocess from - Dec 2011
Medical done - Feb 2012
Add docu request - Feb 2013
PPR - God only knows

Please advise how long approx will take to get the PPR after the Additional docu request..

You could refer to this table. It is hard to say how long it will take. There seems to be no regularity for CIC to follow.

Just wondering are you in the States or Canada? And what type of documents they asked you to update? We have similar timeline and are both FSW3. I don't see any FSW3 getting PPR this year, though. That is weird, isn't it?

Do they means that they got any confirmation from cic for clearing medical.
Or when they just go to doctor and send the receipt to cic.

Medical done--It is the date which medical completed and sent to Ottawa. You can get the mailing tracker no from Doc office.

When results are vetted by Ottawa, usually they will put Medicals have been received. However in some cases, they won't even do that.

Medical done--It is the date which medical completed and sent to Ottawa. You can get the mailing tracker no from Doc office.

When results are vetted by Ottawa, usually they will put Medicals have been received. However in some cases, they won't even do that.

Yes, I agree. My Ecas does't reflects my medical status, but CAIPS file results shows that my medical received and went well. Thanks

FSW3 existed till June 2010 and the new forms are tad different from old forms (that was filled). Also CIC has moved to GCMS from CAIPS IT system and they need updated forms from all old applicants. It is common for old FSW 1 and FSW 2 as well.

OK Thanks Bongcan. Some of the old applicants received PPR without filling the updated forms . If I see the table, CIC processing the applications randomly and not in the order they received. I am not sure what could be the reason for it.
