I think you should. Some people in the forum aren't receiving their Medical request whereas their GCMS note said medical request was sent way before.

I had the same issue. contacting them many times did not help. after getting GCMS notes I came to know that it was issued on last November itself....

Is it true that CAIPS and GCMS notes are only for those application made outside of canada. When I asked the agency who is my representative says that normally CAIPS are for application outside Canada. Can someone give me insight on this thanks.

Brothers I am do tiered of running with you I need to know what's happening there I got my gcsm notes nothing started yet it is been 1 year 9 months I know lot of people more than my waiting time. But I am in very bad condition I need to know how long they will take to finalize the application at least they can say you application will be finalized on 20-12-2020 then I will be happy but they don't say anything another week started and going fast please god help us

I am in the same boat regarding to application dates. . My Work permit expired Jan 2012 and since after I am here on Visitor permit. You can apply online for visitor permit. You just make sure to mention your file # and they give you up to one year visitor permit and then you can reapply. I have been working voluntary jobs with community organizations since Feb 2012

Started processing on march 15th 2012
Medicals received in May
PPR October 15th.

Yes Ram, finally, after a grrrreeat limbo, today, I received a precious e-mail from Ottawa to send our passports to Detroit. Praise to the Lord for all things that we have been through. Thanks for this forum and especially for YOU GUYS where I have been a silent follower but your comments / answers are great resources for me and my wife. I hope you guys will receive PPR too before long and your patience will be paid off eventually.


Here's my CAS:

We received your application for permanent residence on May 17, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on November 1, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Case Processing Centre Ottawa office. They are pending review.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 26, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

Congrats to you as well
