Friends,

While i was waiting for the PRP, I got the below communication from visa office today i.e. 4 months after i submitted the medicals.

Dear applicant,

In order to proceed with your application for permanent residence, we require updated Schedule A forms for yourself and your spouse. Even if no information has changed, you must update these forms.

You have thirty (30) days to submit these documents.

Forms: All forms are available at www.cic.gc.ca under “Application Guides and Forms”

Immigration Section

Consulate General of Canada

1501 4th Avenue, Suite 600

Seattle, WA 98101

Web Site: www.seattle.gc.ca

They asked the same forms and also schedule A at the time of medicals.

Even we are waiting for PPR.

Good Luck , keep us posted.

Hi Atakan,
Thanks for writing :) So you went to Dr Dwyer and Laurel St x-ray too? Did he just do 3 minor exams for you too (eye chart, BP and listening to chest?) My bf didn't find him too friendly although he and I had a great old chat. I found all the staff very friendly and helpful there actually. Hard to believe considering they were the cheapest! Wow, we missed each other by a day :). Did your results get delivered on Tuesday to Ottawa as well? Probably in same FedEx package seeing as though weight was 4.8kg i think.

Fingers crossed it's smooth sailing now and that all of us waiting for PPR are finalised by July/August. Good luck to you too.
W

Hi Wendy,

I got your message but I cannot answer it, kinda weird:S :)

You cannot send by courier , it's illegal.

You can either go ur self or send it through some friend to US and ask him to mail Seattle office.

Please be very careful in this.

As far as possible if you have US visa do it ur self or someone u can trust.

Hmmm that is weird. Wonder if it's my setting or yours as Matt2010 and I have emailed quite a few times with no problems. I added you to my buddy list - not sure if that helps/changes things. I have emailed other users with no replies so maybe they had the same problem. Oh well, hope i answered your questions.

Sanaman, congrats on your PPR. Good luck getting your passport from India to Seattle.

That's bcaz he is a newbie . Eventually when he becomes full member his inbox will get activated :) my experience :)

Hoping for PPR this week.

Congrats Sinamam! ;)

How come that its illegal?

In INdia it is illegal to send passport like that not here in Canada.

Some countries have restrictions.i read that in Forum only.so asked him to be cautious.

Thanks for the insight buddy. And also for clarifying the courier question. I was starting to think uh oh how will i get my passport from Canada to USA if it's illegal. I'd probably just post it anyway. Still a scary thought having your passport leave your hand! :)

is its possible they grant me visitor visa for canada if i am apply in india vo . i tell all problem to vo . i think they give me visitor visa for visa stemping . so i decide to apply visitor visa on monday.
our case is almost done !!!

Well I have no idea about this , but if that would happen it would make your life so easy. I will pray for it.

Can you paste your PPR email, I mean just the concrete Part. Please remove your personal details from it .

That would be help to all of us as we are hearing Seattle has changed its passport return policies also is there any mention to go to VISA office in person for PPR visa.

Good Luck !!
