guys...

first of all sorry (in advance) for starting this unnecessary thread.

but today I am feel very restless, because of (slow) speed to Buffalo VO.... my 2nd AOR (from Buffalo VO) in April, cureent status - In Process.

Now how much time still I need to wait for wrapping up this process.... or at least getting medical request... definitely officers at Buffalo VO are not sleeping in the office and doing work & show their progress to their seniors... post June 26 are getting warped pretty quick. Now when would my (our - pre June people) no. would come for progress....

if you are reading... I am just wasting yours time (sorry for that)... but some concrete info should be there, last week I sent case specific inquiry; how much time it takes to get their reply. In the confirmation, it was mentioned that if your case is under normal processing period, then they won't reply; so does that means; there are chances that they won't even reply?

CAN someone shed some light on Buffalo VO's plan to look into my (pre June applicants) case(s)?

Buffalo VO is a DEAD MONSTER. Otherwise how could some VO sit on my Medicals for the last 7 months ?

Buffalo VO is just testing our patience levels, its been 6 months for me since my medicals results were submitted to them

Now practically all Visa offices like this, "sleeping".
But, since is April, beginning of new "visa year", it will soon "wake up". In a month or so you will see some shift in sending requests for documents, medicals and passports for visas.
Actually some VO started doing that.

I thought their "visa quota year" starts from 01 January..

no body know what's going on ..just wait and w

No, it starts from April.

If you read info on the following link, it hints about a calendar year quota not fiscal year. Important to note that CIC is planning to take 74,000 - 80,400 FSW applicants (including PA and dependants) in the year 2011, thus the delays as they have to regulate the number of new entrants.

So far I know processing (and so for release of visa) goes on throughout the year. The release of visa per quota follows a quarterly (Q1, Q2, Q3,Q4) trend and those selected to release visa in Q2 should have the preceding process completed in Q1 or earlier (like medical/PPR/ BCG/SEC chk)... So as Slavasz said April is reasonably the start of another quarter (Q2).. There were some common delay we have seen throughout the Q1 of 2011(very few visa released given we take the forum member's case as standard) which someone explained due partly by new priority Parliamentary policy advise (MI-2 instead of MI-1 and C-50) and partly due to switching process between CAIPS to GCMS.....Therefore its not unlikely to expect the actual visa processing for the year 2011 to set for during April onwards (well this is a reasonable guess only)... All the very best to you all

Can someone chime in on this? Is it January or April, shouldn't this be common knowledge?
It is definitely April. It is not a guess. I know it.

No man...
Nothing yet after 5 months of 2nd AOR...

I had not seen any movement at Buffalo since starting of this year...

And now elections is on head, so they got reason not to work..
