Buffalo requested Police Clearance from Canada

I applied Buffalo for PR after I got AINP on 2010 April. I am in Alberta since 2009.
This January I got my AOR / Medical request through post. At the same time I got an email which asking me to provide a police clearance from Canada which indicates that anyone who stay more than 6 months in Canada require a police clearance (Which is not just name check clearance, it should be finger print check clearance)
And that email it states that it need only for me and later if they need, they will request same for my wife as well. Anyway I submit this for both of us...
Is there anybody who got this request or who already submit Canada police clearance

Hey thanks for posting this information. I have also applied to Buffalo, God knows if they are gonna ask me the same.

However, since you have done it from Canada, could you please tell us the process in details and how long it takes?

How do we send the finger print/ police clearance to visa office?

i didn't get such request for police clearance however one would assumed they can figure it out on their own without asking you. i have been living in canada since 2007 i received my AOR last novermber together with my medico no request for police clearance.i am sure it's done to a specific country.
