Hi all,

I am British who lives in Manchester, United Kingdom, I am 36 years old. I work as IT Technician for the last 12 years but I have only 3 years college education and I am interested in immigrating to Canada to Ontario where my uncle lives as a Federal Skilled Worker (Express Entry). Is this an option for me?
I have done this test https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp (Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) tool: skilled immigrants (Express Entry)
and get only Grand total = 403.
Cannot find anywhere what's the minimum score you need to get, can anyone help please?

Thank you!

no I have zero chance in this program? are there any other options for me to get a working visa and the Canadian passport in the future?

this link gives me an error:

and when I login back it takes me back to the main Immigration and citizenship page https://www.canada.ca/en/services/immigration-citizenship.html

As your background is on IT, check your NOC, it might be under BC or Ontario’s PNP tech draws. I think for BC it happens fortnightly, while for Ontario it happens twice or thrice a year (not definite as there’s no set frequency).

also check pinned posts on this forum.

Each province has its own provincial nomination program and entry criteria (e.g., NOC, relatives, French language skills etc). Once you get invited and nominated by a province, you’ll get 600 CRS points added to your 300+ Which automatically gets you invited in the federal draws since cut off is 470-480. So you need a bit of reading to do to find which province your NOC is in demand.

Check: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i.../provincial-nomination-program-immigration.6/ there are sticky threads there. Or just try googling Province name + nomination program.
