The Canadian government's website has an extensive list of restrictions around children's toys. Does that mean they will want to open up all my boxes that contain toys and inspect them?

  • Toys are prohibited if certain conditions are not met. For example, if a toy contains excessive levels of lead or emits a sound over 100 decibels, it is prohibited.
Could not find more..which site are you referring to?

Any box can be subject to a customs check and there are toys for example stuffed with some materials that would not be alllowed but where is this extensive list of forbidden toys on the government website ?

Children’s toys can be on the customs watch list given dishonest people smuggling various things think that customs will pay less attention to toys but tends to be the opposite.
