My husband and I landed in Canada on Feb 28, 2018 as PR and declared some goods to follow from the USA at that time our landing. We are planning to make a road trip to the US to bring these goods with us and are planning to do it over a long weekend (3-4 days). There are only web pages about exemptions on goods purchased on the trip but nothing about this specific scenario where we are bringing previously declared goods.
Has anyone on this forum done this? What are some things to keep in mind as we make this trip - such as documents to prepare and carry, how to state the purpose of visit, how to prepare for interviews with CBSA and US Border Agents, etc.?
Any advice will be helpful and greatly appreciated.
