Bringing money to Canada from USA - Need Help

I am planning to move permanently to Canada this year from USA and I have XX USD in my Bank of America account. I have read on this post that I can bring any amount I want. But the below link says: "To stay eligible, you may need to update your settlement fund numbers in your Express Entry profile. The update must be done no later than February 25, 2020."

I haven't updated any amount on my express entry profile so I am afraid if any actions might be taken from the CBSA officers which could impact my money.

I would really appreciate if anybody can share their experience.

Yes I got my PR card. Everything is all set. I just need to relocate from US to Canada permanently. So I had this question on my mind about the money in my bank account during the border crossing.
