Bringing Money in Canada

Hello

I am landing in canada really really soon however I wonder what's the best way to bring money?

Should I bring the money I've declared during application in paper cash, or is it okay if I just bring say 1000 USD and just have my ATM activated for international use so I can withdraw as needed (I prefer the latter to avoid complications in bringing money)

Will this be part of the questions asked during the interview upon landing?

The latter is fine, simply bring bank statements in case they ask for POF when landing.
